Peninsula Pedallers: over 15 years of cycling on the EP
Our club was formed in 2000 to encourage cycling on Eyre Peninsula.
Our aim is to be an inclusive club which encourages cycling among the residents and visitors to the Eyre Peninsula South Australia.
We have several set rides every week as well as special rides every month – see our rides calendar. We welcome cyclists of all levels. We encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter to receive information on special rides and events.
After our regular rides we do what all good cyclists do – have a coffee and a chat !!
We have a regular beginners ride every Tuesday morning at 9:30am departing from the Arteyrea Gallery. This is the perfect place for cycling beginners to start riding. There is lots of encouragement and help getting started and we only ride at the pace of the slowest rider. This is a shorter ride, with the group usually only going to the National Park entrance. This is flexible though. We have no hesitation in shortening the ride to make it comfortable and enjoyable for new riders.
After this ride we return to Port Lincoln for a coffee and chat. We are sometimes met by some of the original club members who can no longer ride.
The Peninsula Pedallers are an affiliated club of Bicycle SA and the Bicycle Institute of South Australia (BISA).
